For more than four decades, WETA has offered the best in kids, lifestyle, and primetime programs to inspire, educate, and enrich viewers in the Washington area.
Up until now, all of this variety has been on one channel (WETA TV 26) and broadcast from a single analog transmitter.
The nationwide digital transition occurring in February 2009 (and the availability of better technology), now allow WETA to broadcast all of your favorite programs on four distinct television channels.
The four digital channels are The WETA Channel, WETA HD, WETA Create, and WETA Kids. Each offers the high quality programs you've come to expect — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Experience WETA’s digital channels and the opportunity to watch even more of the television programs you enjoy most!
Continuing a tradition of excellence in broadcasting which started in 1961, WETA offers four distinct digital television channels.
If you subscribe to a cable or satellite service or have a digital tuner in your television set, you can already watch all of WETA's channels.
